Here is the answer to why she had pants and legs in the picture posted yesterday…

Figure features an eerie reaching motion play-action while lying on her base. Accessories include a damaged cell phone and jeans, as seen in webisodes.

Here are the first photos of the new (second) set of action figures from The Walking Dead. It’s not clear if these are prototypes or the finished look but please let me know what do you think of them.

This one looks good but why does she have legs…

This one looks pretty much like the one in the TV series.

Doesn’t really look like Shane if you ask me.

Looks almost like the one seen in the TV series.

Doesn’t really look like Rick’s face does it?

Image founding partners Todd McFarlane and Marc Silvestri are among five artists who will do variant covers for the 100th issue of Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard’s The Walking Dead, according to a Bleeding Cool report.

In addition to the moody wraparound cover by series artist Charlie Adlard there will reportedly be as many as eight other covers, including a chromium-enhanced version of Adlard’s cover and variants by McFarlane, Silvestri, Frank Quitely, Bryan Hitch, Sean Phillips and Ryan Ottley.

Season 3 divided in two

Posted: April 10, 2012 in Season 3, TV series

According to TVLine the 16-episode third season will likely be divided into two part like season 2 was. Robert Kirkman said “The idea is we will do eight-and-eight. Getting eight-and-eight will almost be like doing two seasons a year, which is cool.”

Lauren Cohan, who recurred throughout the second season as Hershel’s eldest daughter, Maggie, has been elevated to a full-fledged series regular according to TVLine

While the promotion would seem to indicate that Glenn’s sweetheart will figure prominently in the show’s upcoming third season, it by no means guarantees she’ll make it out of the season alive. Jon Bernthal and Jeffrey DeMunn were both full-timers when their characters, Shane and Dale respectively, were whacked.

Kirkman talks The Road to Woodbury

Posted: April 9, 2012 in Books

Daily Dead has an interview with Robert Krikman in which he talks about The Road to Woodbury.

You know what, I’m just going say that the second novel will be out in October, I believe, and it’s going to be called The Walking Dead: The Road to Woodbury, and it’s going to be a direct sequel to Rise of the Governor. We’re going to meet new characters as they come to Woodbury and see how Woodbury is founded, and how the Governor continues to grow as a character. It all takes place before we met the Governor in the comic book series, and there’s a lot more story to tell with that guy. We’ll also look at others—Lilly is going to be another focus. It’s going to be fun to explore those characters again.
